The Legacy Cup annual Legacy charity golf day will be held on Sunday 26th March, put it in your diaries. The Legacy Cup is in it’s 70th consecutive year and is the longest running Legacy charity golf day in Australia, a fact the Club is very proud of. All monies raised on the day go towards supporting the families of deceased war veterans and those servicemen and women who have given there lives and or health during their service, living on the Central Coast.
All money raised stays on the Central Coast. The event is individual and 2 ball Stableford competitions, the men playing for the Legacy Cup, the Ladies for the Legacy Silver Salver or Plate and a Mixed competition in conjunction. It is a fun day with prestigious trophies, a long ball run down and a many prized raffle, drawn on the day. Our many new members are encouraged to play and we need to keep numbers up to continue to qualify as the only non-metropolitan golf club to receive an invitation to attend the prestigious Governor’s Legacy Golf Trophy held annually in alternate years at The Australian and The Royal Sydney Golf Clubs. Our representatives have won this sought after trophy in past years.
