Isn’t it nice to see Autumn weather finally start to kick in and the end of the hot and humid weather disappear. Really makes playing a lot more pleasant.
We have finally had our first Medal day for the year plus our postponed medal day from March. Both played in brilliant sunshine. Congratulations to all winners.
The qualifying round of the Keno NSW 4BBB Championship was played, congratulations go to our qualifying teams of Leonie Kelly and Helen Potter, and Di Thomlinson and Vicki Foster. We wish them all the best of luck for the District finals to be held at Wyong on the 8th October.
Pennants is now well and truly underway. We commenced the season extremely well with a win by Banksia and a draw from Wattle. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts we have been narrowly beaten in the subsequent matches. Still there are a number of matches still to be played and we wish all those wonderful ladies that are participating and representing Gosford all the very best of luck.
Our Open Day to be played on the 15th May is nearly upon us. We are looking like having a virtually full field which is wonderful. Please remember to bring in all that fantastic produce I know you are all capable of producing, as we endeavour to maximise our donation to the Gosford nominated District charity of the Salvation Army Transformation Centre at Dooralong. For all those that have purchase our new club shirt, it would be great to see you all wearing them on the day.
Good golfing.
