Ladies Captains Report
Well, no one could say the weather has been boring. What a variety, from exceedingly hot to exceedingly wet. I for one am hoping that March delivers some good golfing weather.
Competition is starting to rev up, we have our first CCWGA Brooch and Veterans round on Tuesday 7th.This day will also see the commencement of our new competition – the Top Ten Shootout. We have had a fantastic response to the shootout which was great to see. Good luck to all those that have signed up. Our first Medal round and first stroke round for the year will be on Tuesday 21st.
We do have a couple of fun days this month to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. A two ball Irish Multiplier on Tues 14th followed by a 3 person team – Green Ball day on Thursday 16th. Make sure you all come along and join in to make Paddy proud.
Interclub Match Play commences on Monday 27th March. The list is out and we already have a good number of names, but we also need a good number of reserves on all handicap levels, so please consider. A clinic will be held for all those ladies that have submitted their names, on Monday 13th March at 9.30am. This will be followed by morning tea in the club house. Please come along for a little team bonding.
The first round of the 4BBB Knockout commences on March 30th. You will have two weeks in which to play each match. The sheet is in the Ladies locker room, so please get together with a friend, or other, and give it a go. Match play can be fun.
Good golfing.
