To all members
This week The Central Coast Council will be conducting groundwork to repair a major leak on the pipeline which runs between the 2nd and 3rd holes here at Gosford. In order to carry out these repairs and make the area safe for everyone involved, it has been decided to limit the length of Holes 2 & 3 to short Par 3’s.
No handicapping will take place on the course for any days in which the shortened Par 3’s are in effect. The Men’s Autumn Medal & Ladies WGNSW medal will be moved to later dates in the year (TBC) and single stableford comps will be in effect on these dates.
Groundworks may take up to one week from the intended start dates, so please be aware of this. The council intend on starting works next Monday/Tuesday (12th/13th/3/18) weather permitting.
The council will endeavour to minimise damage/disruption to the course however the crossing of the second fairway is inevitable. Although safety measures will be in effect for traffic of workers, golfers and heavy machinery, please be aware of your surroundings.
We thank you for your understanding in this situation and hope you enjoy the opportunity to play the course from a different perspective.
