During the month of November we continued with our maintenance projects with the trees, shrubs, hedges and rubbish pick up. Tree maintenance and undercutting has continued with a focus at the 17th Out of Bounds area including replacement of pegs. All the hedges are steadily being maintained as required.
Gardens have been watered as the hotter weather sets in. General garden maintenance has continued with gardens mulched. The vertical wall garden at the 1st tee is now complete with plants donated by Ron Gowing. Weed removal from the 3rd dam has continued with that area looking noticeably better.
Tidying up has continued around the clubhouse and 1st and 10th tees and Wedding Garden. Tidying the car parks has continued as well as clubhouse maintenance as required. Chairs used for wedding functions have been maintained.
A new brick fence at the front entry to the clubhouse has been completed to replace the old dilapidated wooden fence. A big thank you to our members who have donated plants this month, some are yet to be planted out.
Our thanks go to “Barto” for our sumptuous morning teas that he supplies every Monday Morning and many thanks to our supporting members for donations of plants and cash to support our projects.
F-Troop meets at the green keepers shed at 7.00am on most Monday mornings with morning tea approximately 10.30am. Feel free to join us if you have 3 hours or so of time to volunteer your assistance.
Casual helpers are also welcomed.
