It is nice to see the dams full and the course green again. After the renovations the course is getting back to normal. February was a bit disappointing financially, as we posted an $8 431.18 net loss for the month. Despite this minor set back we are still tracking ok for the year to date. Our figures for March are looking better. With the favourable whether conditions, our golfing departments have been performing quite well. The food, functions and gamming also were strong performers.
We have had the scheduled painting completed in the club house and several other projects are under way on the course. There are a few events coming up this month and we encourage your continued support. We will launch a new menu in early May and don’t forget to book your mother in for our sumptuous mother’s day luncheon. There is a Trivia Night for our juniors with a Mega Members draw of $3000 that must be one on the night. The other event coming up in August is the Clubs 90th Birthday Dinner.
