January was another good trading month for the club. Our net trading profit was $24 086 which was up over 5 times last year. This means we have already achieved our Net Profit budget for the year! Baring catastrophes from the weather gods, and any unforeseen circumstances, we are on track to have a great year financially. The stand out performers were the Bar, profit was over double that of last year. Food and Functions having a turn around of over $9000 for the month in profit. This is the first time we have posted a profit in January in Food and Functions in years. We have had strong growth in gaming which is up 38% year to date.
Over all the club is in a very positive position, with lots going on around the club improving our facilities for members and guests. We met in consultation with the members regarding the one tee system. Through listening to our members, the board implemented strategies put forward from the meeting. The rain has also helped in greening up the course and filling our dams.
