Proper care of our course when playing is essential. Please observe the following points when on course.
Pitch Mark Repair
- A correctly repaired pitch mark will heal in 24-48 hours.
- An incorrectly repaired pitch mark will leave a brown scar on the green and take up to 3 weeks to heal
- See instructions on how to correctly repair a pitch mark
- If you know you have hit the green, don’t forget to repair your pitch mark.
- If you see an unrepaired pitch mark, please repair it
Divot repair
- Please carry a sand bucket and repair all divots on fairways
- Also repair divots on tees, especially on par 3 holes
- Also repair divots made by previous players
Bunkers
- We know our bunkers deteriorate from time to time, but you can help by raking bunkers correctly. Bunkers should be raked towards the middle by pushing the rake away from you. This avoids the sand being continually dragged towards the edges of the bunker
- Faces of bunkers should be smoothed out using the back of the rake
- Leave the rake as close as possible to the middle of the bunker facing the direction of play.
Carts
- Please obey carts signs and blue lines.
- Carts should be kept on and within the margins of paths where possible and not driven within 6 metres of the green surface
- Avoid obvious wet patches
- Do not drive carts onto tees.
General
Please assist us by picking up any rubbish (bottles, cans etc) you find on course.
