What a wet month we have had with the course continually getting topped up just as it starts to dry out. The exciting news this month is the implementation of the new MiClub system which will make life easier for all of us. Most of you would have already logged on and had a look at how it all works and would have started booking in for competitions from the Wednesday the 5th April.
Scoring the card will be the same as we score now on the left hand side of the card as you put your score down as the marker and also the players stroke and stableford score. On the right hand side of the card you will simply put a dot in the column of the stroke score the player has had. The available scores are from 1 to 10 and W for a wipe. If you have a 12 for instance dot the 10 and dot the 2. When putting the cards into the computer simply place the four cards into the top of the scanner, hit scan cards and they will feed through. If all cards have been marked correctly and signed you can put them in the box which will still be locat-ed upstairs in the club house. The computer will let you know if there is any discrepancies which you will have to fix before rescanning them. I will send out some information on the way scoring the cards works. If you have any questions regarding the new system don’t hesitate to ring or ask us in the Pro Shop.
The new kiosk and counter is now operational and already we have seen an increase in sales from the hospital workers. We have an assortment of cookies, cakes and the bacon and egg rolls have been a bit hit with most customers now using the new service window.
This months special is the superseded Pro V 1’s that have been reduced from $79 down to $59 per dozen.
Good Luck & Happy Golfing!
