On Monday 30th April work will commence on the dredging of the 2nd and 10th dams. This work is designed to increase the water capacity on the course as well as improve water quality.
It is anticipated that work on the 10th Dam will commence on Monday the 30th and as such the back nine will be closed to all players. After the work is completed on the 10th there will be some damage around the edges of the dam but this will be kept to a minimum and the green staff will attend to bring the damaged grounds back to a playable condition as soon as practicable.
Should the `10th dam be completed on Monday work will commence on the 2nd dam on Tuesday. As such the recent course alterations due to the council leak will be put in play with the 2nd and 3rd holes becoming par threes.
At this stage it is anticipated that no work will be done on Wednesday other than our green staff rectifying damaged areas.
Work on the 2nd dam will be completed by Thursday 3rd May.
Members may be inconvenienced during the next few days as green staff dispose of the weed and make good to effected areas. We apologise for any inconvenience but ensure all members that this isĀ necessary work which has overall benefit to the course
